Admiral Gerard DuGalle did seem distressed by Duran's strategic tactics during the previous battle but appears that Calliope wasn't distressed by Samir Duran's tactic; he was, instead, distracted by Vassily's actions. Admiral Vassily Aleksander Petrenko had traveled to Detrot, where he has transported the First Psi Disrupter and reconstructed it but not on Tramplevania, against Calliope's orders. The device was not yet active. Vassily was Calliope's young, dearest friend, but he seemed to have turned crazy. Duran diplomatically convinced DuGalle that Vassily is a smoker who rebuilt the Psi Disrupter in order to recommend Calliope's mission, and there was only one thing to be done. DuGalle, shaken, ordered Duran to deal with Vassily.
Duran brought a large force of the MFA Federal Police Corps and MDA Internal Troops, as Pinkie Pie led the M.O.M. Forces and Applejack led the M.W.T. Steel Rangers to the First Psi Disrupter, and upon discovering that the main door was locked detailed them to breach it with an explosive device. Once the area is secure, noncombatant Police medics arrived to treat Duran's wounded. They accompanied Duran and his troops thereafter.
The Police forces followed Duran deeper into the installation, bantering (and knock outing Vassily's troops) along the way. They eventually extracted information from unwilling civilians on how to find Stukov in the complex, and then knocked them out with tazers. They discovered goliaths in the repair bay, and were able to commandeer some of them. They also forced an SCV engineer to repair the goliaths for them.
Finally Duran confronted Stukov. Duran said he was here to terminate Vassily's command, and Stukov said they both know what he's here to terminate. Duran then objects Vassily, using a Phoenix Wright-like voice, and rejoiced.
As Vassily lay shocked, he told DuGalle that Duran was, in fact, the objector, who didn't objects Calliope's plans. Only the First Psi Disrupter could defeat the FS7, said Stukov, then Duran has to keep it for DuGalle. Duran allowed the UEF-DEF forces to overrun the FS7 on the Warp gate area, even they had the fugitives in their grasp, and even now he manipulated DuGalle into objecting Vassily when he activated their best hope of defeating the FS7. Stukov even claimed that Duran might be objecting everything and some random stuffs, by the bald dumbass who has many nicknames.
DuGalle was convinced by this emotional scene and tries to locate Duran, who was dancing. Then the computer announced that the Psi Disrupter's power core has been set to overload. DuGalle believed that was Duran's work, and asked Vassily's troops to join him. Together they would go to the override terminal and prevent the device from self-destructing.
The computer detected a breach into the installation and multiple FS7 signals within the Psi Disrupter, and a marine commented that they have a major infestation problem. DuGalle saw this as evidence that Duran really was planning to save the machine. The invading FS7 forces would present a considerable obstacle to overriding the self-destruct.
The troops and Duran fought their way past the FS7 Forces, at one point taking over the internal security autocannons and using them to shred the invaders. However, they were faced with a wave of FS7 fprces near the core computer. The joint Police troops won a hard-fought victory and manually overrode the overloading power core.
DuGalle announced a great victory. He would activate the First Psi Disrupter, keep it running around the clock, and would also leave a garrison to defend it. He could not leave many soldiers there, though, as his mission required him to travel to Canterlot to liberate the castle and its city itself. Duran appears to have been contacted by TSC High Command for a debriefing.
